Steph Curry came out firing--scoring 21 first-quarter points--en route to a game-high 34. But the Celtics got hot late, hitting nine 4th quarter 3-pointers and beating Golden State 120-108 in Gm1 of the NBA Finals. Al Horford sank 6-8 3-pointers and led the Celtics with 26. Jaylen Brown added 24 for Boston.
Lim Lamb (43) won his second straight GridCard, sharing King of the Mountain with btalkington20 (43) who both toppled Butch's (40) TallBoy. It was btalk's second KOTM of the year and Lim Lamb's third. MW (38) continued to dominate the PGT, winning another Rollover. Seven other players posted Qualifying Scores: Barry (36), Jkloo (36), KDet047 (33), Rico (33), Teunesto (32), MMc (31), and GB55 (31). Lim Lamb, of course, took home a heavy King Kong (77).
Two sweeps and a split in Team GridCard action. Lim Lamb ( 43) paced Team Detwiler again as they beat Team Collins 132-107. The PGT got even against TMac 130-109 behind MW (38). Butch (40) led VBar who exploded for a Gm-High 141-108 win against OG.
