The Cincinnati Bearcats (-3) raced out to a 17-0 lead on the SMU Mustangs and led 29-14 to start the fourth quarter with Ryan Coe in to attempt a 44 yard field goal to put Cinci up by three scores. But a blocked FG and two backdoor touchdowns later--one of those TDs a tipped pass on fourth down from 16-yards out--and the Mustangs were a 2-point conversion away from tying the game. The defense regrouped and held, the Bearcats winning SU but crumbling ATS 29-27.
Offroad (43) was King of the Mountain, beating back the other TallBoy from Barry (41). This was Offroad's second KOTM of the year. Annabelle (38) notched another Pro Grid Tour win. The GridCard surrendered lot of points, a full baker's dozen of Qualifying Scores: Lim Lamb (38), Jodyann (36), Found Fish (36), Ricco1947 (36), MMc (33), MW (32), amcmayonnaise (32), Rico (31), Nutmeg (31), Dano (31), mac (31), Jkloo (31), and Mr. Jake 50 (29).
In Team GridCard action, the PGT got back on track thanks to Annabelle (38) and Ricco1947 (36), just edging VBar 74-72. Lim Lamb (38) and amcyanyonnaise (32) led Team Detwiler over LFL 70-62. Offroad (43) and Nutmeg (31) scored for TMac as they downed Team Collins 74-61. And Fictionasy was edged by the OG 62-53.
