NFL Week Four Preview

25 Sep 2018

This week on the GridCard Big Ten powerhouses OSU and Penn State face off in Happy Valley. The No. 9-ranked Nittany Lions are a four-point home-dog to the fourth-ranked Buckeyes. These storied programs both rank top ten all-time for total wins and win percentage. OSU leads the all-time series 19-14, but since PSU entered the Big Ten, OSU has won 17 of 25, including 12 of the last 14.

Saturday night's other big game has No. 7 Stanford taking on No. 8 Notre Dame in South Bend--the winner emerging with playoff hopes intact. Still dissecting Stanford's comeback against Oregon. Did that really happen?

The best Big 12 matchup has West Virginia @ Texas Tech--with TTU a home-dog.  Oklahoma is a heavy favorite at home against Baylor, and Texas visits Kansas State--with KSU another home-dog.

The GC has three ACC games--Syracuse @ Clemson, FSU @ Louisville, and Va Tech @ Duke--and three SEC games: Arkansas @ Texas A&M, Tennessee @ Georgia, and Ole Miss @ LSU.

An interesting PAC 12 matchup--BYU @ Washington--takes the penultimate spot in the First Game while two late-night PAC 12 games--Oregon @ Cal and USC @ Arizona--kickoff the GridCard's Second Game--which includes the 10 nationally-televised NFL games, an American Athletic Conference Thursday night clash between Tulsa and Houston, and the AL WildCard game on the Ticker.
