The first eleven pitches the Detroit Tigers saw from Derek Holland on Saturday produced four homers and five runs as the Tigers' 17 run outburst on Friday night seemed to carry over. Detroit beat the Pirates going away and easily covered the Over 11-5. The last time the Tigers homered four times in the first inning--July 29, 1974--it was Al Kaline, Bill Freehan, Mickey Stanley, and Eddie Brinkman who went deep. On Saturday, Niko Goodrum, Miguel Cabrera, C.J. Kron, and Jeimer Candelario reached the seats.
Both Winky (33) and DFSMojoMan (33) bet the Over en route to their GridCard wins. Winky's first Hamlin-Hopper came on the heels of last week's King Kong while DFSMojoMan earned his second King of the Mountain in just his first eight games.
