Highly-ranked and heavy favorites Cincinnati, Alabama, and Ohio State didn't come close to covering in their SU wins on Saturday, but these teams fared better than previously unbeaten MSU and Wake Forest who suffered their first losses of the season to Purdue and North Carolina respectively. The Spartans closed within eight before the Boilermakers broke it open and won going away 40-20. The Demon Deacons and Tar Heels played another ACC classic, UNC coming from 18-points down to win 58-55.
