NFL Week 11 Preview

14 Nov 2018

The Citadel plays @ Alabama on Saturday--getting 60+ points. We haven't seen a dog like that since the Over/Under on Nathan hot dogs vs Joey Chestnut. The GridCard Commissioner has issued a one-week suspension of the Crimson Tide for blatant late-season cupcake scheduling. However, three other undefeated teams are in the mix. Clemson hosts Duke as a four-touchdown favorite; nationally-ranked Syracuse plays the Irish at Yankee stadium. Then Cincinnati travels to UCF, a matchup of top-tier American Athletic teams.

The GridCard finishes what it started months ago when the NASCAR Championship plays out at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Gridders get a choice of Busch and Logano or Truex and Harvick.

The biggest NFL game of the year and best MNF pairing since Howard Cosell--won't be played in the United States. You can expect a high-scoring game when the Chiefs take on the Rams--the game is played at 7,382  feet in Mexico City. Wait--check that--the NFL just announced that the game has been switched to LA due to poor field conditions.

The Second Game finishes up on Thanksgiving with the usual slate of NFL games--featuring the Bears @ Lions early, Redskins @ Cowboys late, and Falcons @ Saints Thursday night--alongside an interesting SEC in-state rivalry game, Mississippi State @ Ole Miss.
