Kings in the North

14 Jun 2019

Pascal Siakam, Kyle Lowery, and Kawhi Leonard all scored 20+ points, lifting the Toronto Raptors to a 114-110 victory over the Golden State Warriors and clinching the NBA championship--the first ever for a Canadian team. The Warriors hung tough despite injuries to Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson but couldn't overcome16 turnovers. The Warriors did have a chance after a late Raptor TO, but Steph Curry couldn't connect from long range.

The GridCard win went to kjh98 (44) who ironically bet heavily on Kawhi Leonard to stay Under 30 points in Gm5. GB55 (37) also benefitted from KL's Under, finishing second and earning the only other WPN for defeating ProGrid Tour winner macs detail (36) who took down the PGT. Kevin K (36), dkropf (32), and JeepCreeper (31) posted the only other Qualifying Scores. The King Kong for winning the week also went to kjh98 (69).
