Big point spreads are the norm in the First Game of this week's GridCard. Northwestern, Texas A&M, Arizona State, and UCLA are each getting two touchdowns against Minnesota, Georgia, Oregon, and USC respectively. Both Penn State and TCU get 19 in away games versus Ohio State and Oklahoma. But the largest margin has Arkansas getting 43 points against LSU in Baton Rouge. Texas @ Baylor, Pitt @ Virginia Tech, and Kansas State @ Texas Tech figure to be more closely-contested matchups.
In the most anticipated NFL games, the Cowboys play the Patriots in Foxboro, the Packers take on the 49ers in San Francisco, and the Ravens are in LA against the Rams. The Second Game finishes up on Thanksgiving, starting with the Bears @ Lions at noon. The Bills are in Dallas to play the Cowboys in the late afternoon game, followed by Ole Miss @ Mississippi State and Saints @ Falcons Thursday night.
