Quite an international GridCard this week. In London, the Yankees play the Red Sox on Saturday and Sunday. And in France, Germany takes on Sweden in the World Cup quarterfinals. The US Senior Open is already underway in Notre Dame--but that, of course, is in South Bend, Indiana. Lots of other MLB action in the First Game, including Twins @ White Sox, Cardinals @ Padres, and Cubs @ Reds.
The Second Game has NASCAR, more World Cup, and a plethora of MLB games, featuring the Mets and Yankees in the Subway Series--all leading up to a Fourth of July MLB triple-header. Earlier on the 4th, the GridCard Commissioner is forcing everyone to make a bet on Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest--cramming it down your throat so to speak. Will there be another Major League Eating controversy? Another disappearing plate of hot dogs, like last year?
